Throughout his career, Jose has amassed a wealth of experience in diverse jurisdictions, diligently preparing mechanical and plumbing design plans for various projects. His hands-on involvement extends to on-site verification of mechanical and plumbing systems for remodels, conducting siphonic roof drain calculations, facilitating mechanical functional performance tests for new stores and overseeing quality control, Request for Information (RFI) responses and construction administration. Jose’s versatility and comprehensive skill set make him an invaluable asset to the firm’s engineering leadership.
As a licensed professional engineer, Jose Diaz earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Puerto Rico. In addition to his professional qualifications, Jose is a Green Globes Professional (GGP) and member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), where he actively engages with industry professionals and stays at the forefront of advancements in the field.
