As Director of Architecture, Chris Renegar leads a team of architectural professionals dedicated to the practice of architecture within the firm. One of his roles is to mentor both junior and upper-level architectural staff and be a resource to the diverse group by offering valuable career guidance, working to consistently raise the standard within the discipline. His extensive project experience spans multiple private and public sectors, including residential, government, institutional and commercial projects. Chris’ professional background involves leadership positions in several consulting firms along with working as a postal architect and unit leader in the South Florida area for the U.S. Postal Service.
Chris is a registered architect in the State of Florida and maintains a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) certificate, serving as a NCARB supervisor and mentor to several aspiring architects in the firm. His professional credentials include being a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (BD+C) and Green Globes Professional, underscoring his knowledge of sustainable and environmentally conscious design practices. Additionally, Chris is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), helping to promote various AIA-sponsored events in the firm.
His educational background includes a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami. With a wealth of experience, strong leadership skills, and a steadfast commitment to industry standards, he continues to contribute to the firm’s architectural endeavors.
